VEM came out of two decades on the shopfloor — commissioning, qualifying, and fixing equipment across pharma, food, and energy.
The pattern was always the same: the configuration is the asset, but no one owns it. Vendors change, people rotate, and the skid keeps running on assumptions nobody wrote down.
We tried the usual workarounds — spreadsheets, audit scripts, CMMS add-ons — and none of them held. So we built the tool we kept wishing existed.
